D'suon Energy is a Nigerian based social enterprise founded on the 22nd of January, 2015 bt Chukwuebuka Obimma. At D'suon, we believe people's everyday lives depend on access to reliable and affordable energy to function smoothly and to develop equitably.

Chukwuebuka Obimma is a social entrepreneur empowering lives by providing affordable and clean energy solutions to rural off-grid areas across Nigeria. He holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana and a Master’s degree in Petroleum and Gas Engineering from the University of Salford, United. His leadership role has gained him recognition by international bodies such as Power For All, United Nations Foundation Energy Practitioners Network, The Pollination Project, The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, Comic Relief and The Royal Commonwealth Society (Associate Fellow). As a Queen’s Young Leaders from Nigeria he underwent a 1 Year Leadership Course “Leading Change” from The University of Cambridge, Institute of Continuing Education.
Ngozi is a graduate of Electrical Electronics Engineering at Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria. She is passionate about solving societal problems through entrepreneurial approach using the positive power of business to meet people’s need. During her time as a student of Covenant University, she was the Enactus team led, an inspired the design of a waste-to-energy plant.
Head, Communication & Strategy
Ayotunde has over 8 years’ experience covering Creative Writing and Editing, Project Management, Design Research and Analysis, Community Outreach Planning, Business Strategy and Strategic Planning. Prior to joining D’suon, she worked in the capacity of a design research analyst and copywriter for the Waste Bank Project Initiated by DandiHub. She has also worked on other development projects such as “The Expedition” and the University of Lagos Departmental Research on Employment generation through the informal sector amongst many others.
Technical & Sales
Ephraim has over 6 year experience as an electrical engineer in the solar energy industry. In 2011, he was part of a team who installed 15W solar powered street lights at the Nigerian Ports Authority Complex in Apapa, Lagos. In 2014, he was part of engineers for the Operation Light Up Anambra project, where he personally worked on solar powered street light installations at Alex Ekueme Square, Ochanja Market in Onitsha and the Governor’s Villa in Aguleri, Anambra. In 2015, he worked on the installation of over 80 solar powered street lights at Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos.
School Campaign Coordinator
Jerry is a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Akwa. He is passionate about marketing and advertising. He has previousy worked with irokoTV and brand footprints communication.
Chijioke Ajuluchukwu the Afrodancehall artist, named Reil C is a graduate of Economics from Babcook University. As a youth empowerment activist himself, he use his music as a weapon of enlightenment for the youth.
John Olisa is a final year Electrical and Electronics Engineering student at the Federal University of Technology (F.U.T.O). He has some experience in designing electronic circuits for inverters, automatic changeover switches, alarms, water level monitor and power bank.
Elizabeth holds a degree in Physics and Solar Energy from Bowen University. She has some experience in installing solar home systems and inverter systems. She has previously worked for Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and Aurther Energy Technology Limited, a solar energy company.
